How to Place an Online Hold

Step 1: Log into Your Account

Start by going to catalog.ccfls.org. On the right side of the page, you will see a place to enter your Login and your Password. Your Login is your library card number, which can be found on the front of your card under the barcode. Your Password is your last name in all lowercase letters. Once you have entered your information, click the Login button to access your account.

When locating an item, make sure that it is available at your home library. If the item is located at another library in Crawford County you can still place the item on hold, but you will have to go to that library to pick it up.

Once you have found what you are looking for, click on Place Hold.

Step 3: Place Hold

You will next see the confirmation page for your hold. Click the Confirm Holds to finish the process and submit your request.

Step 4: Pick Up

Once your hold has been filled, you will receive an email notification letting you know that the item is ready to be picked up.

If you do not have an email associated with your account, or just want to check on the status of your hold, you can do so by visiting your Account page and clicking on Holds.
