Starting this week, Crawford County Federated Library System users will now have free online access to hundreds of digital magazines. The magazines can be accessed through the RBdigital app or website found at ccfls.rbdigital.com. Access to the magazines is unlimited with no loan periods, holds, or limits to the number of magazines checked out. Library users can download and read a wide variety of periodicals, including The New Yorker, Sports Illustrated, National Geographic, and Newsweek to their phone, tablet, or computer.
In addition, the magazines, CCFLS’ ebook and audiobooks collection is also set to expand in the coming weeks. Thanks to a partnership with libraries in Erie and New Castle, the digital book collection available on Overdrive will nearly triple in numbers. That entire collection can be accessed by visiting ccfls.overdrive.com.
The COVID-19 pandemic has disrupted in-person service at libraries across Pennsylvania, and Crawford County libraries are doing everything they can to increase access during these times. The new magazine collection comes as a part of a broader CCFLS initiative to expand its digital services and joins a collection of thousands of other free ebooks and audiobooks available to anyone with a CCFLS library card.
