Description
After witnessing his father's hanging, Jesse Adams inherits a whole lot of trouble. Never has he dreamed of owning a cattle spread. Four hundred prime acres and just as man fat, stolen cows to go with it. From the age of sprout, Jesse has worked hard to throw Pa's dishonest reputation off his back. At seventeen, he is no longer a boy. His fists are strong, and there isn't a thing he can't hit when he aims his Winchester. The outlaw Jesse is hunting will not go down without a fight--a fight that will surely leave one of them dead. Jesse's one ally is the famous lawman, Nolan Crosson. Only, Nolan's son, an ornery little cuss of a boy, sure does know how to rub Jesse the wrong way.
